Dean and I stopped to look at some model homes the other day and it reminded me of this.
I designed this house when I was about 14 years old. My mom would drag me around to model homes almost every weekend and I would keep a running log of all the things I did and didn’t like. This is sort of the result of that.
It’s a one-story, about 6000 to 7000 sq ft. Only 4 bedrooms, but potentially more. 4.5 car garage. It originally was going to have a courtyard in the middle, or a swimming pool, and it was supposed to be shaped like a donut. This is maybe the fourth draft – think I’ll stick with this one.
I don’t remember this one. I do remember the round one though. I thought that was pretty cool, also if it were dome shaped it would be very structurally sound.
